What are some of the weirdest things you have seen in someone else’s home?
A lifesize cardboard cutout of Andre the Giant
Should Marijuana Be Legalized?
where is "here"?
It's already been legal here for years.
I deleted my Facebook account today. It was too stressful... yet I kept opening the app, constantly, almost on autopilot. I think it's for the better, at least for me. Do you still use Facebook?
If not i'd lose contact with a lot of people
I only kept it for as long as I did for that reason. But everything else I saw was just so upsetting. Even after I left those political groups, I saw sponsored ads that upset me. Do you see these things too?
I was part of so many political groups, I was feeling like there was no escape. I think a lot of us in the US can agree that things are very tense right now. I was getting notifications all the time, and none of it was good or made me feel good. I realized I wasn't getting anything out of it other than anxiety.
There's a boy named Carol. He's made fun of throughout high school because of his weird name, and so he's become very shy. But he has a crush on a girl and works up the courage to ask her out. She says yes, and he's so happy. After years of dating, he works up the courage to ask her to marry him. She says yes, and he's so happy. When their first child is born, a girl, he lets the wife name her, because he still feels so lucky and fortunate just to be with her. The wife names the baby "Love". Love grows up and now she starts to be made fun of because of her weird name. She comes home from school one day screaming at her dad, asking why he gave her such a stupid name. He takes blame, wanting to protect his wife, and apologizes. Love says he ruined her life. She shoots him and runs away. Finally the wife comes home, sees Carol lying on the ground, screams and runs to him. "Carol! What happened?!" He beckons her to come closer, and with his dying breath he whispers in her ear: "Shot through the heart. And you're to blame. Darling you gave Love a bad name."

This was great LOL
If you could breed two animals together to defy the laws of nature, what new animal would you create?
A porcupine crossed with an armadillo. It would basically be indestructible and could double as a weapon if you attached it to a chain 😉
That was a really long set up for a so-so joke.
Wait but where did you get the name carol from :P so random!!
I don't know, it's my sister's joke so I just told it how she told me. But I had the same question lol
If you had a choice, what would you dream about tonight?
Having my mom back. We weren't close at all, she didn't even raise me. BUT I've now come to realize that if things had been different for her, she would've been a great mom. I want to dream about her.
I broke my thumb at work yesterday and now I have to use my Index finger to text. What non-threatening injuries have you had, that were more of an inconvenience than anything else?
I've never broken any bones, but I had a splinter once, does that count?
I think so haha
I've always feared that. I mean, wiping with the other hand.
It's very awkward haha
Do your relatives get angry at you whenever you don't do things their way? Controlling relatives.
I don't have any relatives any more, but my aunt was like that. I had to season my own personal plate of food the way she likes hers.... No pepper allowed. And I love pepper 😢
What is something you are certain you will never experience?
What does the younger you think about the older you?
I'm pretty cool because I have a car, but I am also lame because I no longer dye my hair funky colors
What has been keeping you from giving up?
My clients, my dog and the fact that I swore I wouldn't give up like my parents did.
Tried to draw an evil tree haha... it didn't turn out too well
I think it's pretty good. It has a chaotic, jaggy quality. I wouldn't want to mess with it!
"Men get sexually assaulted, men get abused, men have toxic gender stereotypes that they are expected to live up to. This is a problem, and I am more than willing to have discussions about this, and talk about what can be done to change these things if you bring it up as its own topic. However, if you bring these things up as an attempt to override discussions about women, I will not listen to you. If you really cared about men's issues, you'd bring it up at other times, not only when we're discussing women's issues. That's not you caring about men's issues. That's you not wanting to talk about women's issues because you want everything to be about men." Amirite?
I recently attended a two day workshop about male victims of domestic violence. It was very enlightening. One of the topics that came up is that male victims of DV are often brought to attention just to derail conversations about DV toward women. This has done little to help bring awareness, as many people (professionals, even) take this attempt to derail as evidence that DV toward men is a myth. Very interesting! 🤔I do agree with you 100% though.
It is true things are not as good as the old days...took Harry Potter 9 books to catch a bad guy and only 30 minutes for Scooby to do it🙄
Harry Potter is 7 books long, not 9. Still funny though
The song that all turned it around for you... post it.
Brian McKnight - Thank You (For Saving My Life). This song helped me beat drug and alcohol addiction my senior year of High School.
Poets are all about you... they speak the truth. All you have to do is listen.
I love slam poetry ♥️ I don't perform it but I enjoy being in the audience
The early 2000s were a lawless wasteland 😂 😂 😂 What weird foods do you remember from long ago that you can't find any more?
What does a lawless wasteland have to do with foods you can no longer find?
The pic didn't show up, you have to click I guess. It's just a silly joke.
Do you have any creative hobbies?
I'm not very creative, but I grow some very tasty tomatoes in my salsa garden. Ha!
Home grown tomatoes are the best! I like to eat them right off the vine when they're still warm 😋
I like to buy cool glass bottles and make Harry Potter inspired potions
