Working on making the ultimate Lasagna sandwich. So far just two large pieces of 5 cheese baked bread. Lasagna, fresh sliced avocado, red onion rings, Roma tomatos, fresh mozzarella slices and romain lettuce. Is this something you'd pay 5$ for?
Are you grilling the sandwich? Like a grilled cheese? There is some texture there.
Sounds really good, dw.
Nope. The bread is baked. Crunchy yes. Though with all the other ingredients it can't stand on its own.
Well, sounds like a knife and fork sammy.
I couldnt think of another thing
$5 sounds like a bargain
The flavor is almost there. The texture isn't quite right. Going to have to bread and deep fry the onion rings. Two birds, one stone.
Yup whole casserole :)
When did you first start feeling old... behind the times... out of it?
It's disheartening when your best work goes unnoticed.
Your best work is yet to come. I've noticed the trial and error stage. :)
Do you remember to click on the option box before answering or giving your opinion on a post ?.......Platinum hehehe ......just messin wit ya *wink*
Unless I forget. :)
No man with a thick, full head of hair - and in his right mind - would want his hair styled as if he were partially bald.
I could have a full head of hair. Though I buzz it extremely short every two weeks. Just don't want to deal with it. :)
And yes, I've tried apple slices on this one. The sweetness offsets the Italian sauce.
One of my honest to God Pleasures is running across those complaining that a site has too few members, or that the content is boring. I usually then contact said person, apologize for not being entertaining enough, and then ask them for links to all the amazing posts they have written that I somehow missed. :)
Whew.... I've not been contacted by you, so I guess I'm not guilty of any of that. lol
Nah, you are far from boring. :)
Then I'm glad I could bring a bit of joy to your life. :)
Always do Linn. :)
Tis funny how much a simple house plant can change your mood. I've had one that is around 10 years old at this point. I'm pretty neglectful, and unfortunately the only one who takes care of it. It was looking pretty bad the other day. So I bought some new potting soil. Repacked it, watered it and gave it a little beer. Looking pretty healthy today. Just might flower again. Funny how something so simple can make you smile. :)
beer? poor plant i hope it lives. I had a spider plant that was maybe 20 years old.I left it outside too long once and lost it. But then I went to a garden center picked some craps off the floor and started new plants for myself. I love the ones I get for free that way
The CO2, fermented barley and lasting yeast compound is actually quite healthy for plants in small quantities. Also a decent amount of sugar. The minimal amount of alcohol does nothing. You'd be surprised what a small amount of beer can do for most plants. :)
Ok Time for the "one better game". Simple yet serious. Somebody posts the "best" anything. You post one you think is better. At that point it is up to you to to post the next "best". This will be difficult for a few. Though I hope everybody catches on eventually. Don't skip turns. Look at what is already posted. I'll start:

Best chocolate chips,
Ok, it shall take time to get use to this game. You technically had to name a better Starburst flavor before bringing chocolate chips into it. :) Live and learn. I'll say that Hershey's are just as good if not better.
The Best 80's Movie
The Breakfast Club.
Good ole' boys clubs.....Still relevant?
We shall see tomorrow. If the new Health Care Plan passes.. I'd say minimally. IF the plan fails.. the ol' Boys club is as alive and destructive as ever. If it passes, they are worth keeping a serious eye on.
Though to me it is all a matter of definition. My specific definition is a group of hyperconservative dimwits who are pretty sure God put them in office. And that no form of common sense shall ever have the vigor to climb the walls of stupidity required to pass common sense laws. Don't get me wrong. The same applies to the ultra liberal Self Proclaimed Gods, who are just as certain they know what is best for Everybody. All hail the idiocy.
The best Starburst Flavor. Orange.
Going through the MacDonalds drive through. "What do you have that is healthy?" Hyper intelligent employee "the ice for all our drinks is purified. Pure H2O under 32 degrees."
All that "employee morale" crap does not exist in a fast food environment. Speed= profits is lore. The more people you serve in an hour. The more profits you make. Your SOS (Speed of Service) is everything. Yet people will call and complain that the order taker "Rushed them through their order". Would never do it again. The accountability and overall level of stress are far more than most people can take. People go into fast food for a second job. Or to get anything after they have been laid off. They have no idea. :)
I remember a guy, had his Bachelors degree in business. Had been a very successful general manager in a retail company that went out of business. He figured he would try out fast food for a year until he found something better. Do something easy for a year.. Was immediately placed into management and went through the four weeks of training. All smiles. Two weeks on the actual job broke him. He was found sitting in the employee break room crying, saying he just couldn't take it anymore. All the employees got together and made a laminated sign that said "the crying chair" and stapled it to that chair. That chair is apparrently still there with the same sign. The amount of crap those employees deal with every day and still fake a smile.. there is no sympathy. I still laugh when I think of that sign.
Odds are somewhere in the world the star high school quarterback and head cheerleader married and actually lived happily ever after. Amirite?
