OK explain it then we can talk about it
Think I was in that process when you replied. :)
By the way your user name has become way too freaking long. How about LTR1200?
dw Thank you I wanted my user name to be raine1200 but they wouldn't allow it, so I am stuck with this one - I can't even remember it and need to ask for help every time I clean my files. Look for raine1200 in most any other place and you will find me
Hey AliceD!!!! Can you help out with this?
So the fusion process in stars creates matter from energy. The whole periodic table. At the same time it takes an amazing amount of energy to create a single atom. As displayed when an atom is split and causes a chain reaction “Atomic Bomb”. Yet organic things are also comprised of atoms. Atoms that form cells that group together and by some mystical code called DNA create all life. Yet all organic things die. Ok fine, it’s probably good that every time something dies a nuclear bomb doesn’t go off.. So therefore everything decays to the point of atoms yet not beyond that?
Im not a science person. But my little brain feels like that energy has to go somewhere.
Energy is not a physical unit. It is a philosophical concept and an accounting technique used to analyze mechanical and chemical exchanges. In nuclear physics it is defined as a wavelength of light, in biology it is a synonym for metabolism, and in public utilities they say energy when they mean connectivity. Anybody who uses the word in any other context either does not know what he is talking about, or is peddling something you don't need.
You saying Monster Energy drinks are a scam?
I take energy as the basis of Fusion. Is that misconstrued?
It doesn't mean anything.
The e in e=MC squared means nothing? Hiroshima might disagree. :)
Matter and energy swap places all the time.
The sun shines, making the tree grow. Then after it dies, I come along and chop it up and extract the energy by burning it in my stove. So in essence, I'm heating my home with solar energy collected by the tree.
