I realize what I am about to state may be oversimplified.
Regardless, it seems that ever since the word "feel" has been readily-allowed to commonly replace the word "think" in oral and written communication, the result has become one of undesired consequences relative to healthy use of human emotion.
It's as if we humans have almost subconsciously allowed emotional "feelings" to trump non-emotional thinking/reasoning in almost every aspect of human life.
Agree. the difference between "feel" and "think" will make a huge difference on the outcome.
I'm going to butt in and say "believe" instead of think. Too much thinking can destroy things too.
That will work ... I like that one.
I revised my comment after you raved me. I screwed up by thinking too much.
You're head is spinning.
Yep, too much damn drama lately. Make it stop!
This place is drama ... where's the drama queen?
Sadly so. Which one?!
There's only one drama queen left?
Finally some good news.
That's a good one Will.
I have to agree with you there. I try not to let my emotions get the best of me when making important decisions. I have two on my mind right now that I have to think through and try to come to a logical conclusion.
Smart way to look at it ... never rush decisions and get advice from others if you can.
I already gave you some great advice.
Advice for the young at heart.
feelings vs thinking
will it help me
will hurt me
Forget the feelings go straight to thinking.
making a decision based on emotions can hurt, best to think things through first....lesson learned...this should apply in all aspects....
Yes.. Exactly, emotions make bad decisions. Let your thoughs make them.
Feelers make great parental units. Unless they're the type that only feel content when supplementing the most sadistic of their feeler feelings. In fairness, those ones are usually more delusional than emotional.
How many costly mistakes would be about right?
One is enough.
I think a "good decision" needs both emotion and logic.
Way less emotion is better.
