There are a few for me that I distinctly remember: Radiohead's "In Rainbows" and "the King of Limbs"; Kings of Leon's "Come Around Sundown", Green Day's "American Idiot"; and a few Lana Del Rey albums. How about you?

As much as I love music, I've never done that.
Pretty much what Howler said, except the first Boston Album.
LOL, I'm shocking myself, I never realized that until you posted this question. I have friends in the music industry, so I always had the opportunity to listen to albums before I bought them. I never had to run out and get them the day it was available to the public.
I didn't have it when it was first released, but a lot of people bought this one.
Nope, never have.
Not on the very day ... but I bought this one quickly in 1964:
Why buy music albums when you have youtube?
A very good question
Which makes me now ask, how do artists make money if all of their songs are free to listen to as long as you have internet?
The ins and outs of the whole situation seem p complex from my uneducated perspective. I guess adverts and going on tour generate loads of revenue...?
Metallica’s “Load”, Slipknot’s “Iowa”, Machine Head’s “Blackening”. Probably up until about 6 years ago I was always getting albums by my favorites on release day. No need with Spotify.
spotify has made getting music so much easier!!!! i love it!!!!!!!!
I’m addicted to building playlists. I think the one I’m most proud of is my playlist of songs used in 80’s movie montages.
lol! that sounds like a GREAT one. the one i'm proudest of is my ~Halloween Vibez~ playlist. I add to it all throughout the year too!! So it's just constantly growing. I will never be done, which is p fun.
Oh it’s epic. And I have some holiday specific playlists too. It’s like being back in high school and killing time during class because writing out a list of songs is how I would pass the time lol.
Not on the actual release day, but I bought every Bealle album as soon as I could get to the record store on my bike (I didn't have my first car yet).
