Hundreds of celebrity women are coming forward because a man looked at them 40 years ago. But these same types of celebrity women giggle when lesbian Ellen gawks ogles, and touches. Why? Is there a difference?

Trump talked about being able to grab women's private parts, and "moving on a woman like a ****". I'm sure most everyone knows that.

Trump: I did try and **** her. She was married.

He was too, with a new and pregnant wife at home, when that undeniably disgusting supposed "locker room" talk came to light.

I don't know about you, but I've never been okay with hearing anyone expressing such 'sentiments'.

What that has to do "gawking" , I do not know. It is never 'okay' for anyone to act on their sense of entitlement to touch someone else in a "sexual" way, uninvited. Do you disagree?
I'm sure if the person you chose to highlight in your post is ever accused of doing that, she will experience the same kind of public lynching.

That's what the majority of Democrats and liberals have been saying for a year, and you support the charge with your up votes. Or maybe he wasn't lying this time, which would mean he doesn't lie "all the time", and YOU'RE all lying.

I do agree, that women sometimes get more of a 'pass' for speaking crudely. Comedians in general often get somewhat excused for that. I do not, however, remember a man being barraged with outrage for simply 'gawking' at an adult women's breasts.

"because a man looked at them" is greatly distorting and undermining what's actually happening here.

Here's the thing: the issue here is what's unwanted and what's not. As soon as it becomes unwanted, coerced, forced, that's when it becomes a problem. It's possible for a man to look, touch, or flirt with it being wanted and it won't cause a stir. What's causing the problem is when men who are in positions of power using that to take sexual advantage of people.

But as I've said before: not all these cases are the same. The one who rapes is much worse than the one who says a few creepy things. We have to make sure to not lump all these instances together.

That's one question where the playing field will never be equal. A man does it and he should "know better" because he molested someone, so he goes to jail. A woman does it with two or three of her students and gets house arrest because she cried and was "vulnerable."
Talk about inequality....

Where besides comments on the internet was this "backlash" that Ellen supposedly got for posting that picture of HER ogling another woman's breasts in front of her wife??
You know damn well that if a male celebrity who supports Trump were caught on camera ogling another woman's breasts in the manner Ellen did(especially in front of his wife) that it would be all over our country's alphabet network's nightly news........ a scenario if such were to happen..............................................................................
"BREAKING NEWS from ABC/NBC/CBS/CNN/MSNBC NEWS", Trump supporter Kevin Sorbo who stars in and produced the Christian themed movie Let Their Be Light along with his wife and children in that Christian movie was caught on tape with our reporters catching him ogling another woman's breasts while his Christian Stepford Wife stood by his side laughing at her Christian husband's ASSAULT on that woman, so much for the GOP's supposed "family values".
Eh you know damn well my reverse scenario is exactly HOW our country's supposed trusted media would have reported it.

Yeah exactly, only on social media was there outrage over the picture Ellen posted ogling Katy Perry's breasts...where there was no coverage whatsoever by our "msm", as you know there would have been if a celebrity Trump supporter posted a picture like that, and you know it.
Oh please you DO KNOW damn well that there is an obvious/blatant double standard by our country's "msm" when reporting the news on any Republican.
I mean come on, even just recently our "msm" ALL purposely edited their tapes to purposely report FALSELY and NEGATIVIELY to the dumbed downed in our country(anti-Trumpers) about President Trump being sooooo dumb that while in Japan he even fed fish wrong while in Japan.....when IN FACT our supposed trusted "msm" traveling overseas with President Trump ALL knew he was following the actions of the Prime Minister of Japan doing so first!!!

As well as our "TRUSTED" msm also purposely editing and taking out of context President Trump's comments about Putin...where he actually said(not verbatim) that he believes that Putin believes in his mind that Russia didn't interfere with our country's elections, but that he(Trump) trusts our country's intelligence agencies... NOPE instead our country's msm purposely edited President Trump's comments to report their narrative to the dumbed down in our country of...... TRUMP BELIEVES PUTIN over US Intelligence agency.
It's one thing for the dumbed down/politically ignorant in our country to buy into/believe the fake news being reported, but it's more troublesome that those in government on the left and on the right(Rinos) and our liberal msm, all know damn well that this Russian crap etc. is all BS... in THEIR colluded united attempt to bring down President Trump, only BECAUSE he as a Billionaire dealing with politicians and reporters for decades became an INSIDER of the workings of DC and how our media works...therefore they all KNOW Trump KNOWS how corrupt our government is and how our elected officials and media can be paid off, and they all KNOW IT ... thus WHY they hate Trump being our President, because he is an actual SJW for ALL in our great country.

Look just to set the record straight about him supposedly having orange skin, I went to a Trump rally back in October of 2016 being in the front row, seeing him in person 2' away from me, and his skin is NOT AT ALL orange....which even surprised my friends attending that rally given how his skin color is made to look orange on TV.
So anyways.....Trump NEVER bragged about OR said that HE grabbed women's **** during that 2005 private conversation with Billy Bush.... what Trump said while talking to BB in that private conversation was about the HollyWEIRD CULTURE in our country, WHERE anyone who's famous can just grab some woman's pussy(groupies) and those women(groupies) let them.

You being a supposed TOLERANT OF ALL liberal, sadly have no clue WHATSOEVER that people like yourself who constantly spew your ignorant juvenile comments about our current CIC and/or towards those who disagree with your opinions, ARE the PROBLEM in our country and the reason WHY our country continues to be so divided.

I did not vote for Obama....however I RESPECTED him as OUR country's CIC even though I vehemently disagreed with his policies of him wanting to "fundamentally TRANSFORM the USA".
What I did, INSTEAD of bashing President Obama or his family on the internet, was to instead try to inform my politically ill informed friends and family members who naively voted for Obama twice based on his "hope and change" rhetoric.
6 years into President Obama's 2nd term as our CIC with his policies financially affecting/crippling THEIR middle class families budget, is when they realized that President Obama's "hope and change" rhetoric was BS, with him and the DNC pandering to them just to get him elected and re-elected.

dru18 you find it hard to believe that I, as well as my children respected President Obama when he was our country's Commander In Chief only BECAUSE you and your ilk can not do the same for our current elected CIC.
Therefore WHY you and your SUPPOSED "tolerant of all" ilk can not comprehend that there are people who didn't vote for a US President who RESPECT whomever our country elects to be our CIC, even if we disagree with agenda and policies.

Even though I didn't vote for Obama in 2008, I really did have HOPE that he as our country's 1st black President could/would UNITE US ALL...proving that HE as our country's 1st black President was PROOF that we all can achieve our American Dream no matter our race, gender or religion....NOPE instead a few months in Office as our CIC he showed his true "colors" of wanting to further divide our country with his knee jerk reaction(without knowing all the facts) as our CIC went on NATIONAL TV claiming the Cambridge Police "acted stupidly" and then going on as our CIC to state how HE was the victim of racism because of the color of his skin blah, blah, blah.....and then even when given facts about the Cambridge arrest with him having to have a Beer Summit as a mea culpa to that white police officer.....he as our country's President STILL went to play the race card whenever our liberal news media would report on any black man committing a crime or fleeing a crime being shot by a policer officer...thus him creating the RACIAL divide we have in our country!!!

Obama as our country's CIC was always quick to come out publically as our CIC when a black man committing a crime or fleeing a crime was shot by a police officer...YET he would takes days as our CIC to comment on a terrorist attack committed on our soil by a lone wolf radicalized muslim who committed their murders in the name of Allah, because he did not want to "offend" the Muslim community......
yet he never had a problem giving his opinion ASAP as our country's CIC right after a white police officer shot a black criminal(again not knowing all the facts) or after a lunatic with a gun shot up a school, with him and his party USING those tragedies as means for more GUN CONTROL on law abiding gun owners.....because ya know the 2000 gun laws already on the books(not to mention MURDER being ILLEGAL) has worked so well thwarting the mentally ill from committing their murders, as well as Heroine always being an ILLEGAL drug in our country....hmmmm yet heroine is now the cheapest drug of CHOICE for most drug addicts in our country....funny how that works, huh dru18?

There is no clear cut definition of what constitutes appropriate or inappropriate behavior when it comes to "looking". Sometimes, it's just interpreted as inappropriate if the person who is "looking", isn't the one the woman who spent the time and effort to look good for, and wasn't the one she was trying to attract.

Oh please, you know damn well that the 500 million/per year that our government gives to PP goes towards paying for the abortions they provide, NOT towards mammograms, paps, birth control etc.
Look know it all, mammograms, paps etc. were all covered by our insurance companies via our work and for those getting "free" health insurance in their states prior to Obamacare....as well as those services being covered for those having Obamacare, so why does PP still need 500 million dollars per year from our government to provide those services(mammo's, paps,bc) that are covered under Obamacare??

Anyone with half an ounce of COMMON SENSE knows that PP has ALWAYS been an ABORTION clinic, NOT a medical facility that provides medical services for women's health care issues!!!
Back in the 70's my friends and I all knew that PP was an ABORTION clinic, as do young women and men of today know this fact as well....with some agreeing with our government funding Planned Parenthood's ABORTIONS but most being vehemently AGAINST our government funding Planned Parenthood ABORTING babies.

No, it doesn't.

Planned Parent Hood gets their federal funding from a government program called Title X, that provides money for GYN services, and supplemental birth control. It does not provide funds for abortions. As I have said, private donations provide the funds for that service. Richard Nixon amended Title X in 1970, and it had wide bipartisan support.

the Hyde Amendment is a legislative provision barring the use of federal funds to pay for abortion except to save the life of the woman. Cinton expanded the law in 93 to include cases of rape and incest.

So once again, do your homework.

Mammograms aren't even required for women to get until they're at least 40(I had to INSIST on getting one via my insurance when I was in my late 30's only because of my mother having breast cancer).

I've had health insurance since I was a young working mom at 19 via the 2 companies I worked at before CHOOSING to become a stay at home later in life...back when I was a young, single mom back in 1982 working at a corporation, I only paid $6.72/wk out of my pocket for a family plan for my son and I with NO DEDUCTIBLE, then in 1993 working at a different company where I only paid $9.73/wk for a family plan with NO DEDUCTIBLE ...eh now look at how expensive it is for working single people as well as working families to pay for their GOVERNMENT MANDATED health insurance ever since Obamacare!!!

Prior to Obamacare the poor AND our children in our country have had access to "free" healthcare in all of our 50 states.. but because they're ill informed, they just didn't know it....therefore our Democrat politicians taking advantage of their ignorance convincing them that they NEEDED Obamacare for them to have access to healthcare...which was a flat out lie.

BTW Dru, under Obamacare all those gyno tests for women and for them to get their "free" birth control are covered under a government MANDATED Obamacare, where they can go to any doctor/hospital for those services ...so why does PP still need Government funds to provide Mammograms, Pap test and Birth Control when those services are covered under Obamacare???

One would think (if they had COMMON SENSE) that if PP was only a medical facility that ONLY provided those women with mammos, paps, and birth control...., there really wouldn't be a need for a PP anymore because of those services all being covered under Obamacare, so why the need for Planned Parenthood anymore IF they're NOT an abortion clinic??

Gronk, stop trying to tell any of us what PP is, and what it can provide. As if it was available to only YOU. LMAO!

Oh shit, you wanna tell me how health care has gone down the tubes? Everyone had better plans in the eighties and most of the nineties. I was covered under my mother's plan from her workplace in the eighties, and it was great.

I didn't say that PP did not provide abortions, I said the government does not cover the funds for that procedure.

And nothing about the Hyde Amendment, I see.

Gronk, do us all a favor, and educate yourself.

In response to “Gronk, stop trying to tell any of us what PP...

Look dru18, you and I as informed Americans both KNOW that Planned Parenthood is and always has been just an ABORTION clinic and you damn well KNOW IT......the difference between you and I, is that I'm an honest person as well as having integrity, whereas you as a feminist are willing to compromise your integrity and soul by still defending/lying about PP as mainly being a provider of women for their pap's, mammo's and birth control, when you know damn well that's a LIE and that those services are covered under Obamacare.

It's MIND BLOWING how you supposed "intelligent"/"compassionate" liberal women and men always get your panties in a bunch over an animal being killed(oh remember the OUTRAGE you all had over that lion and ape being killed)...YET you are all the very nuts who protest and advocate for a women's "right" to have a late term abortion ON DEMAND even if it's because that woman just changed her mind in her 3rd trimester of pregnancy of NOT wanting to become a mother??? And you nuts still wonder WHY Trump won, smh.

What you nuts on the left DON'T GET, is that our country's msm news media and our country's entertainment media are also predominately far left nuts like yourself...therefore why you all naively believe(d) whatever they report(ed), therefor believing their skewed polls about the pulse of the American people and that Hillary had a 98% chance of beating Trump...thus why you were all SHOCKED, DEVASTATED and wanting to leave our great country when Trump was elected as our 45th President.

You all have such an irrational hatred for President Trump ONLY because he as a former Democrat voter chose to run for POTUS as a Republican, where you've all lost you minds, where you would rather his policies fail(even if they benefit you and our country) just because of your DERANGED hatred for the man. That's just nuts.

Whether it is misconduct or not is determined by the person being objectified. That makes it a dangerous game to play, especially if you have money and power. Plus, just because it is accepted by them today as fun and games, doesn't mean it won't be used against you 10-20 years from now.

Especially when, in 10 - 20 years the media tells you that you that you were "assaulted". You just didn't know it.

I don't know if there will be a next question. This one was pulled because I was "trolling and trying to cause trouble". Said he "doesn't like doing it, but "this one needed to be pulled". I guess someone's little 'cyber squeeze' was offended and he pulled it for her. Who knows?.
Darkest Serenity restored it. Thanks to her (smile)

This post is about men and women in general, amid the recent sexual misconduct allegations, not Ellen. Ellen was clearly just an example used in the explanation. Of course, the rad-fems and sissies are focusing on Ellen and this particular photo. (no)

Going back years ago, a lot of things were considered funny and acceptable, which are now considered a crime..I'm not belittling things that were done years ago, but it was acceptable...so now women take offense at the smallest things like hand on knee and whistling at women...a lot of women are realizing that if they complain about something that happened 40 years ago, they can get money....

BINGO. The so called "empowered" women of today are wimps and NOTHING like my generation of TRULY strong/EMPOWERED working women of the 80's.
Man, I was hit on/asked to go to lunch or go on dates/complimented on my wardrobe daily while at work while in my 20's and 30's by the men I worked with, and I NEVER felt that I was being "sexually harassed" by those men I worked with.....the ONE time my boss put his hands on my shoulders(ala Joe Biden) while I was in the middle of typing something up for him was the LAST time he did so, BECAUSE of ME all on my lonesome alone with him telling him off... having no fear of losing my job back then for telling him off!!!

Eh but now in the 21st century our supposed STRONG "empowered" women of today stay silent(for supposed fear of losing their jobs) when such things happen to them....and then when their contracts aren't renewed(for poor ratings) or they're laid off from their jobs due to cut backs, is only then when these women come forward with their stories of having to endure being sexually harassed for YEARS while working there???

Last time I checked, the main problem isn't about which gender is the victim or the creep. This is about harassment of a superior in their line of work. And there's at least two men who came up to talk about them being harassed. I'm pretty sure there's not more men talking about it, not because of "women can stare at men and that's not harassment", but because of the shame-the-victim mentality that exists. The idea is that men that are harassed are weak and they shouldn't be complaining, because apparently all men can think about is ** and they should be happy to get any of it. Simply putting, that's **.

When people stop ignoring how serious this is, or stop shaming or blaming the victims, male or female, or stop trying to make the situation about something else, diverting from the real problem, the victims of harassment might start feeling safe enough to talk about it, no matter the gender. Until then, we won't be seeing a real picture of what is going on.

It is plainly and purely a double standard. That said, it is one men are primarily responsible for. Women have certainly taken advantage of that, but men created this particular double standard. Teenage guys think it's cool if their buddy boinked the hot teach, even many fathers would be giving their son a mental pat on the back, rather than focusing on the teacher's inappropriate behavior. The same is true with lesbians. Many, many guys love the thought of girl-on-girl action even as they cringe at the thought of two guys going at it.

As far as the reckoning currently taking place in Hollywood...accusations do not equate to guilt. I'm sure many men did use their positions to demand ****. Unless there was actual force, though, the women acquiesced for their own personal gain. That doesn't make the men's actions okay, and no, it's not "fair", but life ain't fair. Fact is, by accepting such as the price of fame or career and remaining silent all these years, they effectively condoned it happening to those who came behind them.

There are also those jumping onto the bandwagon either for their 15 minutes or for gain, and they should be called out for slander and false accusations. I recently read a story about a woman who had a very brief encounter with a well-known individual and he squeezed her butt cheek...now, because of recent events, she is telling her story...28 years later she tells of her 'years of struggle' resulting from that encounter. Grabbing her ** was not** acceptable, but if the woman struggles with it almost three decades later, her problems are much greater than a brief inappropriate experience.

For those who truly were forced, and especially for the kids who were exploited and abused, I am glad to see this finally coming into the spotlight.

As always...JMHO

Btw, excellent question.
