My daughter is my greatest joy.
Amazing pic, babe.
Sweet photo, Jan! :-) I’ll add to the pink æsthetic:
Love the photo. Many blessings to you both.
I like people with Down Syndrome, they always seem happy and naturally they have the same ups and downs as we all do, but they have something really special about them. Perhaps having too few chromosomes is the reason for all this crap we have to go through every day.
I know many. what's not to love? They are the sweetest people you'll ever meet.
A wonderful feeling to be proud of someone...
And i'm sure it's returned to you, the same..
My neighbor's son has Down Syndrome.
Emily. She is very loved.
I don't know anyone personally but I have met a few and this is a beautiful post. Thanks Jan.
Many. Kind, loving people!
Nice photo. No relatives but I taught one or two Downs children in mainstream school.
I had a cousin and a nephew with Downs syndrome. My cousin spoke both english and german fluently. My nephew has been holding down a job since he was 17. I know totally normal people who haven't be able to do that.
That's wonderful, Brian. My daughter is 37 and does piece work in a sheltered workshop (not quite as high functioning as your nephew), but she's been working there for 15 years now and loves it.
I worked with a man named Petie in a confectionary. You could set your clock by him without fail and it didn't stop there he did everything with heart.I learned a great deal from Petie like work ethic, punctuality, and exceeding expectations, all mostly done with a smile on his face, even though he had his moments not unlike all of us.I was only 17 and he has been gone a long time but his life certainly changed mine I will never forget my friend. All my best to you and your greatest joy!
