There have been quite a few things I would have liked to say - but by then, nobody would have listened, and even now, the "earthen pot has too often no real chance against the iron pot".
Yeah, probably we all have situations like that, in which we would like to have said something but we feel like it wouldn't have made much difference.

Lol - by then, we were not allowed to argue. Many subjects were taboo. Kids had to obey and be silent.
