I dislike a post about me...however an exception might be the day I win the Nobel.
I'm also not crazy about responding to birthday posts. What do you say? Happy Birthday. That's it. And that was the glaring point of the post so why am I making it again?
Oh man - I agree 100% with all of what you say.
Even what you say about the Nobel... or the Pulitzer... and having a star named after you (or a fragrance or a sandwich for that matter).
I'm always surprised and grateful for being remembered. It's worth the time to thank each person who adds good wishes.
I prefer a PM, or a phone call/text if people know me IRL. It always made me uncomfortable when I was on FB and people would post stuff, so I'd wait until the end of the day and just give a general "thanks everyone."
Uh huh :)
No and No.
I would rather have a nice PM.
I'm not usually around on my birthday, but I do like to comment on other peoples posts. I didn't realize that there was an actual protocol for birthday posts. Cool Beans!!! Ha!
Not i. I will give someone else a hb. I dont expect a reply.
If i won a pulitzer, no one would know. No one knows my name.
If i were seriously ill, no one know that either. Although i will **** about a cold.
You know, sukiesnow
I like to keep a low profile;)
Well, we all know you are a cutie from that picture building the house. The cat is out of the bag now! :)
Thanks will, but that was 26 years ago. Lots of life has happened since then.
I've had a few posts made mentioning me, and although I appreciated them, I also had mixed feelings about it.
On Sodahead they used to get around a 1000 comments and everyone seemed to enjoy them...on here they still get a very good response and I think it's good to wish other members a happy birthday...
I prefer to be the Party thrower
Not really, i can appreciate it.....but
Hard to believe Spock was ever awkward.
Yea but it did happen..
I don't mind it at all. I think it is a very lovely and touching thing someone can do. When ones was made while I was having my surgery, it meant the world to me.
Oh, hon...I didn't know that! I normally hate those kinds of things so I figure everyone feels the same way I do... I'm glad they were good for you....
If it happens, then I would appreciate it. But I wouldn't really want a post, I'm the kind that doesn't want the attention.
