I know a small bit but I'd like to hear other people's understanding & experiences. Pertaining to topic, please. Just to listen. Thank you.

What? What? What?
Agnostic here...raised Catholic, never believed it.
You are going to Hell and I will be your **** guide.
Show me all the hot spots?
Nope. No knock on the door. Faith is a tough row to hoe. Some science and logic make it very easy to give up on it without a real compelling reason to stick with it.
anyone with logic would know that nothing begets nothing, with that in itself, earth or anything would never have happened without God, science has already proved that things cannot be created from nothing, big bang tries to claim nothing exploded and magically turned nothign into something, then science has already proven that non life cannot create life, and there is that flaw with evolution, at some point there was no life, well living would never have happened, because abiotic does NOT creatre biotic.
so logic says their must be a watchmaker for the watch, aka a creator for the earth. it is a scientific and logical impossibility for nothing to make something and then magically create life
Sounds reasonable. Of course using your same logic, who or what made God? Never mind. I really don't want to play this word game with you anyway.
God always was always will be. he is the creator, that is how. nothing made God, God made us, nothing creates nothing, people who can;t see that have a hard time with real science. and evolution and big bang are not real sciences, science must be observable and testable with results being constant, you cannot test or observe evolution, and one sure as hell can;t observe the big bang, time travel is not possible, so why people pass off evolution and big bang as science is beyond me
all the time they do, only not door to door, they go to christian forums, and christian music video's and spew their anti christian hate their
What Will said.
Nobody convinced me of anything. I figure that one out when I just a young child. Going to religious schools and studying religion will do that to a person.
You seem to have everything right. You're non-religious...and you stay away from alcohol.... Now all you need is luck...and within everyone's life...some luck will come your way.
Christopher Hitchens came to me in a dream
Send him over to me.
Nah. I just hated getting up early on Sundays... : )
I was not "converted" by anyone other than myself. After decades of trying to convince myself there was a God I finally gave up.
Post was based on the fact that if someone can convert you into being a Christian...perhaps someone can convert you into being an atheist.
But it seems...as per your comment...to just "happen" instead....
I think trying to pressure anyone to take on your spiritual beliefs (or lack thereof) is unethical. You can present your beliefs, but everyone is different. Even if you were to take people who share the same faith, they would still all express it differently. I think that's beautiful as long as no one is being hurt for/ by those beliefs. I have been Catholic, Mormon, nondenominational, Wiccan, Buddhist, atheist, new age...i find beauty in most paths.
I don't proselytise. I accept, respect, and move on!
Thats funny...yeah and they handed someone a blank pamphlet
