Abandoned places....they exist everywhere from ghost towns in the West to underground railway stations, in the case of this illustration, City Hall Station in NYC, Originally opened in 1904, this ornate station was the showpiece of the new New York City subway system, with arches and vaulted ceilings, elegant Guastavino and colored glass tiling, skylights, and brass chandeliers. What abandoned place would you like to explore?

I'm fascinated with abandoned amusement parks. There are lots of them all over the world.

Hey, there used to be an amusement park in Southern Ontario named "Crystal Beach", and they had a wooden "comet" roller coaster too. I went on it several times as a kid.
