Coming home and someone is visiting but nobody texted me a heads-up.

That's the only one I can think of. When I pull up and there is a car in the driveway that I was not expecting, I lose my desire to be home.

If I get a text/call "Aunt Betty is here" or "Johnny is stay for dinner" it make all the difference. It only happens a few times a year but it bugs me to no end.

People who don't hold the door for someone behind them; people who don't use their directional signals when driving; people who chew with their mouths open; people who stand too close on line and my No.1 pet peeve - PEOPLE ON THEIR IPHONES WHO WALK INTO OTHERS.

Anything that requires waiting for unknown periods of time is a pet peeve for me.

May I ask what book you are referring to? Maybe the next one in "A Song of Ice and Fire"?

If I was to write down my pet peeves, it would probably end up as a book. Everything from my taxes supporting those who are too lazy to earn their own money to a cheeseburger where the cheese is just a cold slice and not melted. (and everything in between)

The older you get, the longer the book gets. LOL Did I mention my pet peeve about the disappearance of the muscle cars of the 60's? <s> A new 68 Camaro was about $2,000,

It is annoying when good, convenient things disappear.
I think my own list of pet peeves is getting longer too. lol

People who throw their trash around in the environment. That is not exactly a pet peeve, but it's my own biggest peeve.

When people act like the considerate person holding a door open for them in a public place, is just the "door person" or something. It would be equally annoying, if they acted that way even IF it was a person's job to do it.

People who have their sprinklers set on a timer, and do not change it even when it's raining, even when they are there, and could.

Those who are more attuned to a device in their hand, than anyone around them.

People who throw litter and leave glass bottles in the street.

I'm always picking them up , my Girl is used to my little quirks now but She thinks it a bit much when I walk down the rd with my dust pan and brush to sweep up broken glass. :P

No not really babe
When I was 17 , a Guy was glassed inches from me in a Night club *Shudder* Nasty! so much Blood.

So when I see a Glass bottle in the Street , that lasting image comes back to me , think it Scarred my Mind , so I see a bottle and have to pick it up.

When I was at a Street party when I was 20
I just stopped this Bloke getting glassed with a bottle , luckily I caught it [fast reflexes]that time and separated them fast.

There's a public park I used to go for walks in regularly, and it annoyed me how much garbage there was around. I knew someone was being paid to caretake the place, but I guess cleaning up trash on the walking trail wasn't part of their deal. I thought about raising a stink about it, but instead, I just grabbed a plastic grocery bag from the trail and started picking up trash. I didn't get it all on that trip, but every time I'd walk, I'd pick up more trash. It didn't take long before there wasn't a single scrap of trash to be found along the trail, not even a gum wrapper. It was really nice to walk through the forest with no signs of people but the trail you're walking on. Later I moved to a different part of town, so I hadn't walked that trail in over a year, but I went there a few months ago and there was still almost no trash at all, I picked up the few scraps there were.

I got Windows 10 a little while ago and I wanted to make it show the day of the week in the date on the task bar. Simple right? Well, each and every option on the drop down menu for the calendar configuration features the year, but none of them feature the day of the week. WTF? Which is more relevant info on a daily basis, what day it is or what year it is? I eventually figured out how to do it with third party instructions from the internet, but why isn't it a basic configuration option? Now the date reads "Thu, Jan 19"... as it should.
